श्री भुवनेश कुमार ने बुधवार को भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यू.आई.डी.ए.आई.) के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सी.ई.ओ.) का पदभार ग्रहण किया। वे उत्तर प्रदेश कैडर के 1995 बैच के आई.ए.एस. अधिकारी हैं।

24 दिसंबर, 2024 को नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय ई-गवर्नेंस डिवीज़न (एन.ई.जी.डी.) और भारतीय बंदरगाह संघ (आई.पी.ए.) ने एक ऐतिहासिक समझौता ज्ञापन (एम.ओ.यू.) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस समझौते को एन.ई.जी.डी. के अध्यक्ष और सी.ई.ओ. श्री नंद कुमारम, आई.ए.एस. और आई.पी.ए. के प्रबंध निदेशक श्री विकास नरवाल, आई.ए.एस. ने आई.पी.ए. के कार्यकारी निदेशक (आई.टी.) डॉ. अरविंद भिसीकर और एन.ई.जी.डी. के मुख्य परिचालन अधिकारी श्री रजनीश कुमार और उनकी संबंधित टीमों की उपस्थिति में औपचारिक रूप दिया।

17 दिसंबर, 2024 को भारत मंडपम, नई दिल्ली में राज्य आई.टी. सचिवों, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (MeitY) के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों और राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों का एक सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया। यह बैठक राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के डिजिटल प्रयासों को और अधिक सहयोग और समर्थन देने के लिए MeitY के सचिव श्री एस. कृष्णन की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित की गई थी ताकि अगली पीढ़ी के डिजिटल में प्रवेश किया जा सके।

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C), has commenced the second batch of the ‘Digital Governance & Data Management’ training programme from December 16 – 18, 2024.

Three D integrated Solutions Ltd. (Three DiS) and Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), a premiere R&D organisation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India entered into a strategic partnership to address the key challenges of the fast-growing Indian market in strategic and civilian airport navigation, communication systems and security related equipment with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

National e Governance Division (NeGD), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali, inaugurated a five day training program on “Digital Transformation for Senior Leaders”. The
program, scheduled from 2nd to 6th December 2024, is a significant step under the broader Digital India initiative to equip senior government officials with the skills and knowledge required to drive digital transformation and enhance governance efficiency across India.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, addressed the media at a press conference on Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity in New Delhi today. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the world is now recognizing India’s digital revolution.

A Digital India State Consultation Workshop was organised by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for the Government of Tamil Nadu in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA)
in Chennai on November 28, 2024.

In alignment with the vision of Digital India , the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) continues its mission to strengthen digital governance through the Capacity Building Scheme of the National e Governance Division (NeGD).

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology conducted a ‘Digital India Talk Show’ cum Interactive Session at the Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara on November 22, 2024. The event was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Manoj Choudhary who gave the opening address.
