India’s AI strategy is based on the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to democratize the use of technology. It aims to address India centric challenges, create economic and employment opportunities for all Indians. Building on this strong foundation, the IndiaAI Mission was launched in 2024 to make AI accessible to all. It establishes a robust and inclusive AI ecosystem aligned with India’s development goals. Development of datasets for the development of AI is one of the main pillars of IndiaAI mission.

Aadhaar Face Authentication recorded an all time high with 19.36 crore transactions in July 2025, as against 5.77 crore such transaction during the same period in pervious fiscal. The growth indicates its growing adoption, usage and utility for both availing and providing services. Aadhaar Face Authentication solution is also showing a consistent growth month on month as well. The July face authentication transactions are a 22% growth over June.

In alignment with the Government of India’s vision for a Digital India, Skill India, and the advancement of sustainable infrastructure in the technology sector, SAP Labs India has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Innovation Park at Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka. This significant milestone not only marks SAP’s continued investment in India’s digital future but also reinforces the country’s position as a global technology and innovation hub.

NIELIT Delhi, Ropar, and Jammu in collaboration with Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR) successfully organized the DGR Job Fair 2025 on August 2, 2025 at NIELIT Delhi – Janakpuri Centre. The job fair was held for facilitating placement opportunities for DGR candidates trained at NIELIT Delhi, Jammu and Ropar. 14 companies shortlisted candidates against 250+ job openings in their respective companies. More than 190 candidates had registered for the Job Fair.

The Department of Information Technology, Jammu & Kashmir, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, conducted a 2-day state-level workshop titled “CCMP Workshop and Cybersecurity Exercise” at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, on 16-06-2025 and 17-06-2025.

The program was aimed at enhancing cyber resilience across departments of the Union Territory by equipping senior officers, including Administrative Secretaries, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) / Information Security Officers (ISOs), and nodal officers from various government departments, with essential cybersecurity knowledge and hands-on crisis response planning.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), in collaboration with the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA), Government of Uttarakhand, conducted a two-day workshop on the OpenForge platform on May 19 & 20 , 2025 at Hotel Aketa, Rajpur Road, Dehradun.

India’s national compute capacity has crossed 34000 GPUs. Along with this, the selection of three new startups for building India’s own Foundation Model, the IndiaAI Mission has taken a significant leap toward strengthening indigenous AI capabilities.

केंद्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने आज इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स घटक विनिर्माण योजना (ई.सी.एम.एस.) के लिए दिशानिर्देश और पोर्टल लॉन्च किया, जो भारत के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विनिर्माण पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है।

लॉन्च के अवसर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार के पास इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स मैन्युफैक्चरिंग को बढ़ाने के लिए एक साफ-सुथरी और ठोस योजना है। उन्होंने समझाया कि भारत ने सबसे पहले तैयार उत्पाद बनाने से शुरुआत की थी, ताकि बड़े पैमाने पर प्रोडक्शन और जरूरी आत्मविश्वास बनाया जा सके जिससे नीचे की ओर एकीकरण संभव हो सके । इसके बाद भारत ने मॉड्यूल बनाना शुरू किया, फिर उसके पार्ट्स (घटक) बनाने लगे और अब वो चीज़ें भी खुद बना रहे हैं जिनसे ये पार्ट्स बनते हैं। मंत्री जी ने बताया कि जो फाइनल प्रोडक्ट होता है, उसमें 80 से 85% हिस्सा इन्हीं चीज़ों का होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विनिर्माण का पैमाना अभूतपूर्व रहा है।

राष्ट्रीय ई-गवर्नेंस डिवीजन (एनईजीडी), इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (MeitY)ने डिजिटल प्रौद्योगिकी और प्रशासन विभाग, हिमाचल प्रदेश और सी.आई.डी., पुलिस विभाग, हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार के सहयोग से दो दिवसीय साइबर सुरक्षा कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया।

भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) द्वारा एक नया परिपत्र जारी किया है, जिसमें दावा न की गई वित्तीय परिसंपत्तियों के समाधान के लिए डिजिलॉकर का उपयोग करने की सलाह दी गई है। इसका उद्देश्य भारतीय प्रतिभूति बाजार में इन परिसंपत्तियों को कम करना है।

19 मार्च, 2025 को नई दिल्ली में आतंकवाद-रोधी मुद्दों पर आसियान रक्षा मंत्रियों की बैठक (एडीएमएम)-प्लस विशेषज्ञ कार्य समूह (ईडब्ल्यूजी) की 14वीं बैठक में मुख्य भाषण के दौरान रक्षा सचिव श्री राजेश कुमार सिंह ने कहा, “भारत आतंकवाद के प्रति अपनी शून्य-सहिष्णुता की नीति पर अडिग है और एक ऐसे दृष्टिकोण में विश्वास करता है, जिसमें मजबूत घरेलू तंत्र, उन्नत खुफिया-साझाकरण और मजबूत क्षेत्रीय सहयोग शामिल हो।”

लोकसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ओम बिरला और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव की उपस्थिति में संसद एआई समाधान के विकास के लिए लोकसभा सचिवालय और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (एम.ई.आई.टी.वाई.) के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
