NeGD conducts 5-day Advanced Anti-Drone Training Programme for CISF officers at DIAT, Pune
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), successfully conducted a 5-day Advanced Anti-Drone Training Programme for officers of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at DIAT, Pune. This is the first of its kind intensive, technology-driven advanced training programme specifically designed for personnel engaged in national security and protection of critical infrastructure.

MoU Signed Between National e-Governance Division and Indian Ports Association aims to drive digital transformation in India’s maritime sector
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and the Indian Ports Association (IPA) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi on December 24, 2024. The agreement was formalised by Shri Nand Kumarum, IAS, President and CEO of NeGD, and Shri Vikas Narwal, IAS, Managing Director of IPA, in the presence of Dr. Arvind Bhisikar, Executive Director (IT) of IPA, and Shri Rajnish Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of NeGD, along with their respective teams.
MeitY hosts Conference of IT Secretaries of States & UTs to advance digital transformation, bridge digital divide and strengthen cybersecurity
A Conference of State IT Secretaries, senior officials of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and States/UTs was held on December 17, 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
