The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, organised a Digital India Talk Show at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, on July 23, 2026. The programme was conducted to familiarise students and faculty members with key Digital India initiatives and India’s rapidly expanding Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) ecosystem. The inaugural session was chaired by Prof. Alpana Kateja, Vice Chancellor, University of Rajasthan, in the presence of senior professors and university officials. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Nodal Person from the University responsible for the NAD-Digilocker and ABC Portal, followed by opening remarks from Prof. Alpana Kateja, Vice Chancellor and senior faculty members, who emphasised the importance of digital literacy and the growing role of technology in education, governance and public service delivery.
