DPDP Act Readiness Workshop: B2B and B2C implementation

The Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 is in force, and the DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified in November 2025, with Data Fiduciary duties phasing in until 13 May 2027. Organisations can do much of their preparation now, including where further government notifications are awaited. The workshop invites senior professionals responsible for DPDP implementation and compliance oversight to test their organisations’ progress against practical situations, compare approaches with peers and raise implementation questions with MeitY. Each session puts practical situations to the room, drawn from B2B and global delivery, consumer-facing (B2C) and government settings. Participants use Mentimeter on their phones to vote on how their organisations are preparing, and the panel and participants then discuss what the votes show. Recurring implementation points would form the basis of the closing MeitY and industry dialogue.
