MeitY participates in Bharat Parv 2026 at Red Fort, New Delhi from January 26 – 31, 2026
Key Digital India initiatives of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) — DigiLocker, EntityLocker and UMANG — were showcased at Bharat Parv, held at the Red Fort, New Delhi, from January 26 to 31.
Visitors to the NeGD stall displayed strong awareness of DigiLocker and were actively using it to access important documents such as ID cards and marksheets. NeGD experts further guided citizens on advanced features including nominee addition and the eSign facility, helping them make better use of the platform.
Citizens also learned about EntityLocker and showed keen interest in understanding how organisations, institutions and businesses can securely manage digital documents through the platform. Many visitors installed the DigiLocker app at the stall and were introduced to the UMANG app, gaining awareness about its wide range of government services.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and strong citizen engagement, reflecting growing trust and adoption of Digital India initiatives.
