Workshop on India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Kargil, Ladakh
A 2-day workshop was conducted in Conference Hall, Baroo, Kargil on Cybersecurity & AI on January 19-20, 2026. On Day 1, Senior officials from Police Department including officers from Cyber Crime Kargil attended while on the second day, Senior Officials from the Administrative Departments, Kargil attended the workshop. Nitin Yadav, IPS, SSP Kargil, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on day 1 when Cybersecurity core concepts like Digital Assets, Cyber Risks, Threats and Vulnerabilities and secure usage of AI tools for increased productivity were discussed. Officers participated in interactive activities and the session was filled with questions from the attendees about common cyber-attacks and incident response planning and tools. Imteaz Kacho, ADC Kargil, addressed the gathering on day 2. Important AI technologies were covered, along with the useful uses of AI-powered solutions. The goals and importance of the AI Summit and the AI Mission and its seven pillars were also discussed on this day.
