It streamlines the entire process from user registration to final approval by respective authorities. The system provides role-based access for applicants, verification staff, and approving officers along with Digital Pass and realtime SMS notification.

Brief Background
The Inner Line Pass (ILP) system in Mizoram regulates the entry and stay of non-indigenous persons in the state to protect the interests and identity of indigenous communities. The system is implemented and administered by the Government of Mizoram through Home Department. To streamline the process, an online ILP portal has been developed that allows sponsors or applicants to register, submit applications for Regular or Temporary ILP, track application status using a reference number, pay fees online, and download approved passes. The system also defines categories of persons exempted from ILP and enforces compliance through verification, monitoring, and penalties for overstaying or non-renewal.
