Online Services for Mining Lease and Quarry Permit is a web portal initiated by the Directorate of Minerals Resources (DMR) to facilitate online applications for Mining Lease and Quarry Permit. Users must first register on the website to access the services, after which they can log in to the system and fill out the required application forms. Applicants are required to upload all mandatory documents in PDF format and submit the application online through the portal. Once submitted, the application is forwarded to DMR officers for scrutiny. The officers examine the application and either approve it or forward it to a higher competent authority for further approval. Upon successful verification and approval, the concerned permit or lease is issued to the applicant.

Brief Background

Traditionally, the process of applying for mining leases and quarry permits involved manual paperwork, physical submissions, and multiple departmental visits, leading to delays, lack of transparency, and administrative inefficiencies. To streamline this process and improve accessibility, the Directorate of Minerals Resources (DMR) in colaboration with NIC has initiated the development of the Online Services for Mining Lease and Quarry Permit portal. This web-based system enables applicants to submit applications digitally, upload required documents, and track the approval process online. The portal also facilitates efficient scrutiny and decision-making by DMR officers, thereby ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely issuance of mining leases and permits.

Objective

The main objective of this software is to allow users to apply online application for Mining Lease and Quarry Permit where after the submission of application the DMR Officers will scrutinized the application followed the issuance of the Permit or lease.
