Project Details
Brief Background
Mizoram Houses across India provide accommodation to former MLA, officials, students, medical patients and citizens visiting major cities. Earlier, reservations were processed manually through phone calls or emails, causing delays and limited transparency. The Government of Mizoram developed the Mizoram House Online Booking System to modernize, centralize, and streamline the booking process.
Objective
The Mizoram House Online Booking System aims to provide a simple and transparent digital platform for citizens to submit room reservation requests. It streamlines the approval process for GAD and Resident Commissioners, reduces manual work, and enables quick decisions on applications and room allotment. The system also gives citizens easy access to room tariffs, rules, and notices for added convenience.
Benefits
The system offers 24×7 access for citizens to apply, enabling faster processing with reduced paperwork. It provides automated workflows for GAD and Resident Commissioners, ensures real-time room availability and booking status, and enhances transparency through clear audit trails. Additionally, it allows easy publishing of notices and general conditions for public access.
