The Corporation Application is an initiative by the Health Department, Meghalaya to strengthen internal government operations in healthcare. It focuses on improving medical supply distribution, stock management, delivery tracking, maintenance of equipment and grievance resolution across facilities through a robust system of real-time monitoring, workflow automation, and data-driven decision-making.
 

Project Details

Brief Background

The Health Department, Meghalaya manages a complex network of warehouses, health facilities, and supply chains to ensure timely availability of medicines, medical supplies, and functional equipment across the state. Manual tracking and disparate systems previously led to delays, stock discrepancies, and challenges in monitoring facility operations.
 
To address these issues, the Corporation Application was developed as a centralized digital platform to streamline medicine distribution, stock management, delivery scheduling, equipment maintenance, and grievance resolution. The system enables real-time monitoring, efficient workflow management, and data-driven decision-making, thereby enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability within the healthcare supply chain.

Objective

The primary objective of the Corporation Application is to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of healthcare operations in Meghalaya by:
 
Ensuring timely distribution and accurate tracking of medicines and medical supplies across facilities.
Monitoring and managing equipment maintenance to keep health facilities functional.
Streamlining delivery scheduling and logistics for smooth supply chain operations.
Facilitating grievance and issue resolution from facilities and general public.
Providing real-time data and analytics to support informed decision-making and operational planning.
