Multimode Network Connectivity

RajNET is envisaged as the platform to provide network connectivity throughout Rajasthan state. In the project, it is planned to implement a multi-mode connectivity network up to gram panchayat level. This network works as backbone for providing connectivity to e-Mitra, e-Mitra Plus machines, Wi-Fi, IP phone etc. up to gram panchayat level.

Brief Background
RajNET is envisaged as the platform to provide network connectivity throughout Rajasthan state. In the project, it is planned to implement a multi-mode connectivity network up to gram panchayat level. This network works as backbone for providing connectivity to e-Mitra, e-Mitra Plus machines, Wi-Fi, IP phone etc. up to gram panchayat level.
Objective
In the project, adequate connectivity is to be provided for effective delivery of citizen services across Rajasthan. The objective of RajNET are as follows:1. Connectivity to government offices/ buildings up to gram panchayat level across state.
2. Centralized Integrated Network Operating Center (CINOC) for monitoring of network.
3. Connectivity to e-Mitra kiosk, e-Mitra Plus machine, Wi-Fi , IP phone and other IT equipment's at Bharat Nirman Rajeev Gandhi Seva Kendra (BNRGSK) at gram panchayat level.
Benefits
1. Network connectivity is provided at 9372 gram panchayats under the project.2. Connectivity is being used by e-Mitra kiosk, e-Mitra Plus machine, IP phone, Wi-Fi and other IT equipment’s at Bharat Nirman Rajeev Gandhi Seva Kendra up to gram panchayat level.
3. Delivery of citizen services in the rural areas of the state using the RajNET connectivity.
