The SPARROW Goa portal, accessible at goasparrow.gov.in, is the online platform for the Smart Performance Appraisal Report Recording Online Window (SPARROW) system implemented by the Government of Goa. Brief Background
SPARROW was introduced as part of the Government of India s Digital India initiative to digitize and streamline the performance appraisal process for civil servants. The Goa state government adopted this system to enhance transparency accountability and efficiency in the appraisal process of its officers.
Objective
Primary objectives of the SPARROW Goa system are: To digitize the APAR submission and review process reducing paperwork and manual handling. To ensure timely completion and monitoring of performance appraisals. To provide a secure and user-friendly platform for officers to submit and review APARs. To integrate Aadhaar-based authentication for verifying the identity of users.
