The Goa Budget Portal was launched as part of the Government of Goa s initiative to bring more transparency in fiscal management and governance. Before the launch of the portal budget information was primarily available in traditional formats limiting public access and understanding. By digitizing the budget process the government sought to improve the ease of access to vital budgetary information encourage public participation and align with the Digital India mission. The platform integrates with various government departments and provides up-to-date details about state financials capital expenditure and the allocation of resources.
