It enables stakeholders such as architects, engineers, builders, and government authorities to interact through a single-window digital system, reducing paperwork and delays.

Brief Background
Traditionally the process of obtaining building plan permissions in Goa was manual leading to inefficiencies lack of transparency and delays. Recognizing the need for modernization and ease of doing business the Town and Country Planning Department (TCPD) and the Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA) collaborated to launch Goa BPAMS as part of the larger Digital India and Ease of Doing Business initiatives. The system aligns with national objectives like the National Urban Innovation Stack (NUIS) and is designed to integrate GIS and digital maps for accurate planning.
