Brief Background
In January 2020 the two former Union Territories ? Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu ? were merged to form a single Union Territory: Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNHDD). The portal ddd.gov.in was created as a unified digital platform following the merger to provide centralized access to: Government schemes Public services Administrative contacts Latest announcements and circulars It integrates services and departments that previously operated under separate UT administrations.
Objective
The primary objectives of ddd.gov.in are: To offer a centralized digital platform for all administrative service-related and public interface activities of DNHDD. To ensure transparency accountability and ease of access to government services. To promote e-Governance as part of the Digital India initiative. To enable citizens businesses and other stakeholders to access real-time information and perform digital transactions with government departments.
