As per the recommendations of Business Reforms Action Plan-2017 (BRAP-2017) received from Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Online Building Plan Approval System (OBPAS) for the State was developed in order to improve the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) with respect to grant of construction permits. OBPAS can scrutinize the 2D drawing file as well as 3D BIM Model.

Project Details

Brief Background

As per the recommendations of Business Reforms Action Plan-2017 (BRAP-2017) received from Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Online Building Plan Approval System (OBPAS) for the State was developed in order to improve the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) with respect to grant of construction permits. OBPAS can scrutinize the 2D drawing file as well as 3D BIM Model.

Objective

1.Develop online Building Plan Approval System wherein applicant can submit their proposal for building plan approval by filling the proposal details in the application form through online system.
2.System can automatically scrutinize the drawings as per prevailing building byelaws of the state.
3.Construction permits can be issued online by respective authority on the basis of scrutiny report.
