Government of India Unveils the Logo and Key Flagship Initiatives for the India-AI Impact Summit 2026
Being hosted for the first time by a Global South nation, the Summit is guided by the principles or Sutras of People, Planet, and Progress. The discussions are further centered around 7 thematic Chakras – Human Capital, Inclusion, Safe & Trusted AI, Resilience, Science, Democratizing AI Resources, and Social Good, underscoring how AI can be an impactful force for citizens, communities, and the planet alike.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology launches SHS 2025
In line with the Government of India’s vision of a Swachhotsav, the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) has launched the Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) Campaign 2025 from September 17, 2025 culminating on October 2, 2025. This year’s theme ‘Swachhotsav’ aligns with the festive spirit of the period. As part of the Campaign Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary MeitY administered the Swachhata Pledge to MeitY officers and Safai Mitras on September 17, 2025 to reinforce their commitment to a cleaner and greener environment.

National e-Governance Awards 2025 Conferred
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology; Earth Sciences and Minister of State for PMO, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh today said the 28th National Conference on e-Governance (NCeG) serves as a platform for States and the Centre to exchange best practices in governance, enabling replication of successful models across the country. The Union Minister praised the Andhra Pradesh Government for pioneering citizen-centric innovations ranging from real-time governance to digitized service delivery and recalled how practices first tried in the State decades ago, such as outsourcing of civic services, were later adapted in other parts of India.

Digital India Milestone: CSC’s ₹3,000 Crore Loan Outreach Transforms Lives of 70,000 Underserved Borrowers
The programme has shown rapid growth, with disbursals of ₹86 crore in FY 2023-24, ₹1,631 crore in FY 2024-25, and ₹1,300 crore till August 2025 in FY 2025-26. So far, nearly 70,000 people have benefitted, many of them first-time borrowers, seekers of small-ticket loans, and individuals from unbanked segments. By supporting rural households and small businesses, the initiative has promoted entrepreneurship, strengthened families, and boosted local economies.

NeGD and IIM Calcutta empower Government Officials with 3rd Cohort of Landmark Digital Governance and Data Management Training

SEMICON India 2025 Concludes Successfully, Showcasing India’s Rising Role in the Global Semiconductor Ecosystem
The SEMICON India 2025, the country’s largest semiconductor conference, concluded today at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in India’s journey towards making India the next semiconductor powerhouse. Held from 2nd to 4th September 2025, the event brought together over 350 exhibiting companies and participants from 48 countries and regions. Four country pavilions, 6 country round tables and workforce development pavilion was also the part of this event along with 3 days conference agenda covering different aspects of semiconductor design, fab and display manufacturing, packaging, R&D, State policies, ecosystem development etc. Altogether the event witnessed 35,000 registrations, 30,000 footfalls and 25,000 online viewing.
