DI Talk Show cum Interactive Session at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong
A Digital India Talk Show was organised at the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, on May 7, 2026, engaging over 250 students and faculty members. The session focused on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), cybersecurity and citizen-centric digital governance initiatives under the Digital India Programme. The Digital India Talk Show featured sessions by officials from the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) on key Digital India initiatives including UMANG, myScheme, DigiLocker, ABC, NAD, APAAR ID and API Setu. Sessions on Cybersecurity and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, highlighted the importance of responsible digital behaviour and data privacy awareness. The event also included interactive discussions, a Digital India Quiz, prize distribution ceremony, encouraging active participation from students and faculty members. The initiative continues to promote digital literacy and inspire youth to actively participate in India’s digital transformation journey.
