DPDP Act Implementation Workshop

The two-day workshop and strategic consultation, being organised in Gujarat on August 12–13, 2026, will focus on strengthening awareness and preparedness for implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules, 2025. The workshop will cover the Act’s key provisions, roles and responsibilities of government departments, rights of Data Principals, consent and notice management, personal data lifecycle, breach management, grievance redressal, privacy by design and security safeguards. Participants will also explore implementation experiences and develop departmental compliance roadmaps. A strategic consultation and group exercise will enable departments to identify gaps, draft action plans and define priorities for DPDP readiness.
