The programme focuses on capacity building in government and industry to equip functionaries at strategic and operational levels with necessary knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n<p>For a comprehensive coverage of the domain, this programme is carefully curate with a combination of theoretical and practical understanding through a combination of lectures, workshops, field visits, international immersion and a capstone project. While the field visits are planned to gain understanding of the nuances of e-Governance projects at the national level, a two-week international immersion at NUS (National University of Singapore) e-Governance Leadership Centre, Singapore (for the current batch) exposes students to best-standards, internationally, on digital governance and management. Finally through a capstone project, participants implement learnt concepts on real-life projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><strong>Target Participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The programme is considered to be suitable for the executive officers responsible to design and implement Digital Governance initiative in the Government. The prescribed programme fee for selected government officers is sponsored by NeGD, MeitY, under Capacity Building scheme. The minimum eligibility of government officers for the sponsorship is as given below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Central and State Government officers with minimum 5 years of experience in Group \u2018A\u2019 or \u2018B\u2019 services<\/li>\n<li>Upper age \u2013 45 years<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 15 years of residual service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><strong>Curriculum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The programme is spread over four Semesters of five months each. The sessions are delivered in a unique blended-learning mode (80% online, 20% on-campus) with minimal dislocation of normal work schedules of participants. This is in tune with the importance and rising trend of such (online) programmes o\ufb00ered by educational institutions, nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>The programme provides an immersive and active learning experience to participants.
