The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), MeitY participated in the Global Fintech Fest 2025, showcasing flagship Digital India initiatives- DigiLocker, EntityLocker, and API Setu- driving India’s vision of secure, paperless, and innovative digital governance. The NeGD pavilion attracted wide participation from leading fintech organisations, startups, and innovators, exploring opportunities for integration and collaboration to enhance trust, transparency, and interoperability across the digital ecosystem.
On October 8, 2025, NeGD and National E-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) signed a strategic MoU to integrate EntityLocker with NeSL’s Digital Document Execution (DDE) platform, enabling seamless and secure access to digitally executed documents such as electronic bank guarantees (e-BGs). Shri Sunil Jain, Director, NeGD, participated in a crucial panel discussion on “Leveraging the Digital Public Infrastructure for Accreditation of Investors.” He emphasised the transformative potential of NeGD and MeitY’s DPIs, including DigiLocker, EntityLocker, and API Setu, to streamline investor accreditation and deliver various services in a completely seamless and paperless way.
A masterclass on Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) was also held. The session witnessed participation from around 100 professionals from the FinTech sector and focused on understanding the impact of DPDPA on financial institutions and digital businesses. A masterclass on DigiLocker & EntityLocker was held on October 9, 2025, which engaged fintech players, partner banks, and lenders in discussions on the requestor model, consent-based access, and the future roadmap for seamless digital document sharing.
