Digital India Awareness Workshop on India AI Impact Summit 2026 conducted in Sikkim
workshop on India AI Impact Summit 2026 and Digital India initiatives was organised in Sikkim, organised by NeGD and Department of IT, Sikkim at Gangtok on Jan 31, 2026. Audiences numbering in excess of 300 included Government officials including CISOs, senior officers, students and faculty members from Universities and industry representatives. The workshop was graced by Hon’ble Advisor IT Department, Hon’ble Chairman IT Department and IT Secretary. Presentations were made by University professors, Industry experts AI startups and SeMT Sikkim on the various facets of AI with focus on the India AI Impact Summit 2026, AI emergence in Sikkim and various Digital India initiatives like DigiLocker and Entity Locker. With AI fast picking up in Sikkim, the consensus was that such workshops were the need of the hour and the audience greatly appreciated hosting of the workshop hoping such workshops are conducted in future as well. www.impact.indiaai.gov.in.
